Last year we raced in the Race Across Oregon for the Alzheimers foundation raising $400 for their cause. Acheiving a morally defeating DNF 300 miles into the race. Later on Daniel raced in the Texas Tejas Time Trials 500 (miles) taking 9th place for a time of 34hr. 10min. Our ultimate goal was to qualify for RAAM, which has proven to be a much more difficult task than we imagined. This year we are armed with the knowledge of experience, a tougher training regimen ,and have high spirits from finishing an ultradistance in a respectable time.
